A man who had been missing for thirteen days was discovered dead in northern Queensland, according to the police. The man’s body was discovered in the region. Scott Billingham, who was 38 years old and had been missing from Mackay since March 8, was identified as the person whose body was found on Thursday afternoon, according to the announcement made by the authorities.
A missing person report had been filed for Billingham on March 8th. An official from the Mackay Police Department stated that the body was discovered on Thursday morning near McCreadys Creek, which is located in the Andergrove district of Mackay. This information was provided by the representative of the Mackay Police Department.
Following the completion of the investigation, a report will be created for the coroner to review. It was noted by the official spokeswoman that “police investigations are still ongoing,” and as a consequence, anyone who is in possession of any more information is highly requested to get in touch with the security professionals.
McCreadys Creek had been searched by emergency officials throughout the course of the previous few days in an effort to identify any clues that would point to the presence of Mr. Billingham. Senior Sergeant Chris Eaton stated that there were significant worries surrounding his well-being after being questioned about his health the day before. They were concerned about his health.
