At 8:20 o’clock on the evening of Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Dawn Shelby, who was 49 years old and from Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at Baptist Health Paducah. She was a resident of Paducah. Paducah was her home and she lived there. That establishment was home to her as a patient. Dawn Harmon was born in Springfield, Illinois, on December 29th, 1974, and her birthday is December 29th. Because of her mother, she was given the name she is known by.
Ruth Harmon and Robert Harmon were her mother and father, when she was born. Having a daughter was a blessing that she was able to enjoy. She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple in addition to being someone who had a strong interest in traveling to new nations.
Southland Baptist Temple was her church of choice. Family members will always remember her with fondness because she was a loyal wife, mother, and grandmother. Her legacy will live on in their feelings. They will carry her legacy with them for the rest of their lives.
Her husband of twelve years, Nelson F. Shelby, her daughters Chelsey and Shania Stockdale of Taylorsville, Illinois; her stepdaughter Tessie Ann Shelby Childs (Douglas) of Paducah; her son Dylan Stockdale of Clarksville, Tennessee; her stepson Ben Shelby of Paducah; her mother, Ruth Jones Harmon Boch; her sisters Robin and Laura Harmon of Illinois; and her grandchildren Harlo, Oaklyn, and Luna are among those who are able to carry on Mrs. Shelby’s legacy despite her passing.
Although Mrs. Shelby had already passed away, her father, Robert Harmon, had already passed away prior to her passing. The fact that Mrs. Shelby had already passed away did not change the fact that this was the situation.
It was agreed that funeral services will be held at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah on Monday, March 25, 2024, at one o’clock in the afternoon.

In the event that there is a ceremony, the Reverend Bob Martin will serve as the person in charge of the ceremony. This will be followed by a funeral service that will be held for the family of the deceased.

The viewing will take place on the day of the funeral. At the funeral home, the memorial service will be held for the deceased.
