The death of Hannah Walker, who resided in Westboro, took place on Friday, May 13, 2022, when she was 90 years old. Her mother, Bella McCall, was from Boston, and her father, Andrew E. Ogg Sr., was from Scotland. She was one of eight children. After receiving her diploma from Plymouth High School in 1950, she continued her education of nursing at Westboro School of Nursing.
Over the course of 44 years, she worked as a nurse in the Worcester County area. Her husband, Donald R. Walker Sr., whom she had been married to for 67 years, as well as her son, Andrew S. Walker, passed away before her.
Her sole surviving child is Donald R. Walker Jr., who resides in Grafton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Debi. Cheryl A. Grysell and her husband Charles W. Grysell, both of Sutton, Massachusetts, have one daughter. Jill Walker, who is married to Jonathan Walker, Jennifer Borghetti, who is married to Joe, and Justin Walker are her grandchildren. She also leaves behind three grandchildren. There are five great grandchildren, Aiden, Charlotte, Holden, Oliver, and Grayson, and she takes pleasure in each and every one of them whenever she is able to see them.
A brother named Andrew Ogg Jr. is also among those she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by two brothers named Willian Ogg and Gordon Ogg, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. It brought her great joy to teach a class on upholstery at the YMCA and to work as a seamstress. Camping in an RV at Cape Cod, spending time at Hampton Beach, and traveling to North Carolina were among her favorite things to do.
The Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, located at 62 West Main Street in Westborough, will be the location of the funeral ceremony that will be held for her on Thursday, May 19, at 10:00 AM. Pine Grove Cemetery will also be the location of the burial.
