Patrick Doyle Obituary, Death, A Tribute To A Beloved Soul

It was on March 16, 2024 that Patrick J. Doyle, who had lived in Wallingford all his life and had reached the age of 65 at the time of his passing, passed away in a manner that was totally unexpected. It was during his marriage to Ann-Marie (Murdock) Doyle that he held the position of his husband. Christopher Patrick Doyle was born on February 18, 1959, in the city of New Haven. Although he was born, both of his parents, Francis Doyle and Frances (Opalinski) Doyle, had already passed away before he was born. His life began in New Haven, where Patrick Doyle was born.

In 2019, Patrick decided to retire from his position as an electrician with Metro North Railroad, where he had worked for more than three decades. With a cumulative total of more than three decades of service, he had been engaged there. Patrick was never seen without his hiking stick because his love for the great outdoors was so intense that he never left the house without it. He would travel to a number of different national parks, and there was never a moment when he was not spotted holding his stick in his hand. The fact that he was able to climb Yosemite’s half dome is widely recognized to be one of the most remarkable achievements that he has achieved.

It was not uncommon to see him working outside in his greenhouse, soliciting the participation of anyone who was willing to collaborate with him in his endeavors. As someone who had a deep passion for gardening, you could find him engaged in the activity on a regular basis.

The fact that he had a special bond with his granddaughters made him feel a special attachment to them, despite the fact that he loved all of his children and other members of his family. He had a specific attachment to his granddaughters. Due to the fact that he was such a fantastic Pop-Pop and Poppy, we will always continue to remember and appreciate him.

He will be cherished and remembered for all of eternity. Additionally, friends played a significant part in his life, particularly his “dudes” and spouses in California, whom he would visit as frequently as he could. He would do this regardless of the circumstances. This is something that he would do anytime he had the chance to do it.

In addition to his wife, Ann-Marie, he is survived by his sons, Daniel Doyle and his wife, Avery and Colby Claflin; his daughters, Kyle Marie Claflin, Chelsea Doyle and Lindsay Doyle; his three grandaughters; Chase Marie Claflin-Albert, Ella June Doyle and Lydia Rose Doyle, his siblings, Janice and John Thurston of Wallingford, Michael and Sharon Doyle of Durham, Peter and Karen Doyle of Northford, Mark and Debra Doyle of Guilford, Mary Claire and Andy Whalen of West Simsbury, Frank Doyle of Meriden, and Joyce and Michael Barnwell of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

The Wallingford Funeral Home, which is located at 809 North Main Street Ext., will be the location where the family of Patrick will be present on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in order to meet and greet friends and family members. Beginning at four o’clock and continuing until seven o’clock, the visitation will take place.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at eleven o’clock in the morning. The date and time of the event are still to be determined. The event will take place at the Church of the Resurrection, which is located in Wallingford at 115 Pond Hill Road. The location of the event will be chosen by the organizers
