Deepak Batra, a well-respected and much-loved member of the community, was sadly killed in a car accident late last week, and the news has left the town in a state of shock and disbelief. Batra, who had worked as an Executive Account Manager at CDW Canada and as a former Senior Sales and Tech Support Analyst at Freepour Controls, passed away at the age of 42.
He had also served as a Retail Manager at Indian Costume Jewellery. The authorities are still currently conducting an investigation to determine what caused the fatal traffic crash.
Those who knew Deepak Batra describe him as a professional who put in a lot of effort and took a great deal of pleasure in his work and in the relationship he had with his clients and customers. After graduating from the prestigious Humber College North Campus with a Diploma in Micro Computer Management, Batra went on a prosperous career path that brought him across a variety of different businesses. His most recent position was as an Executive Account Manager at CDW Canada, a company that is on the front edge of providing products and services related to technology.
Batra is remembered by his colleagues as a consummate professional who possessed a profound understanding of technology and an unshakable commitment to achieving quality. Prior to beginning his job with CDW Canada, Batra was employed by Freepour Controls for a number of years in the capacity of Senior Sales and Tech Support Analyst.
Over the course of that period of time, he worked to improve his skills in the areas of sales and technical support. Additionally, his knowledge and experience in site design and maintenance, which he got from his studies at Humber College, proved to be quite valuable throughout his time working as a Retail Manager at Indian Costume Jewellery Company. For example, he was able to develop and maintain websites without any problems.
At the same time that Deepak Batra was successful in the business world, he was also quite involved in the community of Brampton, which was the place where he and his family built their home. In addition to being a generous donor to a variety of community organisations, he was always eager to lend a helping hand to people who were struggling. He was a very involved member of these organisations from the beginning.
During his time at CDW Canada, Richards, who worked alongside him, made the observation that “Deepak was the very definition of what it means to be a trustworthy human being.” His effect on people who were in his immediate vicinity was substantial, and he led by setting an example for others to follow. The memories that we have of him and the teachings that dad taught us are going to be something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
During the time that members of the Brampton community are coming together to express their grief over this incomprehensible loss, they take solace in the knowledge that Deepak Batra’s legacy will endure and continue to serve as a source of inspiration for subsequent generations.
In the next days and weeks, there will be an announcement regarding the plans for a memorial service or vigil that will be held to celebrate the life and legacy of Batra. In this way, all of the individuals whose lives he impacted will have the opportunity to come together and pay tribute to a person who was genuinely exceptional.
