The town of Dixfield, Maine, would like to extend its deepest condolences to Eric Archibald’s family and friends on the passing of this well-liked former student of Dirigo High School. Eric Archibald passed away recently. The departure of Eric, who was 45 years old at the time of his demise, has left the community in a state of shock; nonetheless, his legacy continues to serve as a monument to the indomitable spirit and friendship that are distinctive of the Dirigo family.
The continuation of his legacy will be ensured by this action. Let us recommit ourselves to keeping the ideals of honesty, compassion, and community that Eric held in such high respect on a daily basis as a way of paying tribute to his memory. This will be a method of honoring his legacy. In addition to receiving accolades for his selflessness and humility, Eric was also praised for his constant dedication to the improvement of his neighborhood.
Due to the fact that he was born and raised in Dixfield, he was considered to be a genuine native of the state of Maine. He distinguished himself not just in terms of his academic success while he was a student at Dirigo High School, but also in terms of his dedication to his classmates and his enthusiasm for athletics. He was a student at Dirigo High School. On that campus, he was a student. In spite of the fact that he is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to be a bright example of the genuine spirit that Dixfield and Dirigo High School displays as long as he is remembered.
Before Harold Martin passed away, all of his relatives, including his parents, Lovice and Alice Martin, as well as his brother, Ronald Martin, had already passed away. Harold Martin was the last surviving member of his family. The individuals who will serve as pallbearers include J.W. Portwood, Allen Pickens, Lanier Sibley, Andy Elkins, Tim Taylor, Murry Morrow, Donnie Mitchell, and Wilmer Tharke. Other individuals who will serve in this capacity include donnie Mitchell. It is also expected that the following individuals will be present.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Amedisys Hospice, and in particular to the nurses Heidi, Jason, and Julie. Their hearts are filled with gratitude, and they would want to express they are grateful.
As an additional point of interest, the family would like to have the opportunity to convey their most heartfelt gratitude to our granddaughter-in-love, Callie, for the kind and affectionate care that she provided to “Big Daddy.”
