Marilyn Moeller Obituary, Death, Honoring The Memory Of Marilyn Moeller

My Cornhusker Spirit will carry on forever, despite the fact that my Aunt Marilyn Moeller passed away in Nebraska last night. On the evening of Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from seven o’clock to eight o’clock, there will be a visitation for Marilyn J. Moeller within the Chamberlain Chapel located in Chadron. First Baptist Church, located at 802 Chadron Avenue in Chadron, Nebraska, will be the location of the funeral ceremonies that will take place on July 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.

Through the church’s Facebook account, the service will be broadcast live to the followers. At 10:30 in the morning on Friday, July 17, 2020, the decedent will be laid to rest at the West Lawn Cemetery located on Grand Island. Crestview Care Center in Chadron, Nebraska was the location where Marilyn J. Moeller, who was 89 years old, passed away on July 10, 2020. Her parents, Neil Pinkston and Donna (Hatfield) Pinkston, welcomed her into the world on September 27, 1930 in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was their daughter.

Following her graduation from Grand Island Senior High School in 1948, Marilyn received her diploma. Her first job after graduating from high school was as a telephone operator. Her wedding to Otto W. Moeller Jr. took place on December 14, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church on Grand Island. The ceremony was attended by both of them. She continued to work as a telephone operator when she got married, and she did so until Otto was sent to Chadron, Nebraska, by the telephone company. Marilyn started working as the church secretary at First Baptist Church in Chadron on September 28, 1980, shortly after Otto passed away in an unfortunate manner.

Her retirement came in 2014, after she had devoted herself to the Church for a total of 34 years. Marilyn was a member of the Chadron First Baptist Church for a significant amount of time. Bible studies and her involvement with the Chadron Christian Women’s Club were two of her favorite things to do. Not only did she take pleasure in working with crafts, but she also tried her hand at marketing Avon products. But above all else, she had a deep love for both her Lord and her immediate family. Marilyn’s parents, Neil and Donna Pinkston, as well as her sister Margaret Rickert, her husband Otto W. Moeller Jr., and her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Todd Ray, all passed away before her.

Daughter Christi Winter of Omaha, Nebraska, daughter and son-in-law Diana and John Blaylock of Norfolk, Nebraska, grandchildren Jimmy Winter and his fiancée Andrea Meinders of Houston, Texas, Jill Blaylock of Norfolk, Nebraska, Jessie Winter and Del Goedeken of Omaha, Nebraska, Matthew Ray and his friend Samantha Torado of Kona, Hawaii, and Adam Blaylock and his fiancée Kelsey Vesley of Fort Wayne, Indiana are among the survivors. A number of her nieces and nephews, as well as her sister Jan Metcalf of Austin, Texas, and her brother-in-law Harold Endorf of Fairbury, Nebraska, are among the members of her extended family who are still alive.
