In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 14, 2024, Lori Sonya Hiott, who was married to Donald Daugherty, disappeared under mysterious and unexpected circumstances. During the brief time that she was admitted to the Colleton Medical Center, she was receiving treatment for the illness that she was experiencing.

She was 56 years old at that point in time. Her birthday is February 9th, 1968, and she was born in the enchanting city of Charleston, which is located in the state of South Carolina. Her mother, Mary Lou Davis Hiott, and her father, Cecil Hiott, had both passed away prior to the birth of their daughter.

Her mother was named Mary Lou Davis Hiott. Mary Lou Davis Hiott was the name of her mother by birth. In 1986, she was awarded her graduation from John C. Calhoun Academy, the school from which she had graduated from high school. This was the year that she obtained her diploma. She continued her study at Francis Marion University, where she eventually received a degree in English in the year 1990. After that, she went on to pursue further educational opportunities. At the Colleton County Museum and Farmer’s Market, where she worked in the retail section, she always greeted both locals and tourists with a charming smile and a nice temperament.

She was a part of the retail area. She worked in the retail sector of the industry. Her presence was always there at that location. At each and every one of these locales, she was a sight that was recognized by each and every individual. The television show “The Young and the Restless” was one of her favorite shows, and she was also a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was also a member of the family. Within the family, she was also considered a member. She achieved all of these things by devoting a significant amount of her time and effort to the endeavor.

Her husband, her son, Ethan Daugherty, and her sisters, Kimberly H. Utsey (Dan) and Cecilia H. Byrd (Steve), are among the individuals who are able to carry on her legacy even after she has passed away. In addition to her, her husband is one of the individuals who were allowed to go without any support.

There is also the fact that her spouse is one of the people who will continue on after she has passed away. Additionally, her aunt Emily Levier, along with a vast number of other members of her extended family and friends, will be profoundly affected by her departure. These individuals are going to miss her a great deal when she walks away.

Funeral services are scheduled to take place in the cemetery on Monday, March 18, 2024, at eleven o’clock in the morning. There was no change in either the date or the time. It has been decided that the cemetery that is associated with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church would serve as the location for the arrangements for the burial services.

After the conclusion of the service, which will take place immediately after the service, the family will honor their close friends with a celebration that will take place immediately after the service. This particular organization, which can be found in Walterboro and is known as the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, is the one that is in charge of making the necessary arrangements for the funeral.
