There have been multiple charges made in connection with a shooting that occurred in Stoughton, Massachusetts, a month ago, which resulted in a teenager suffering significant injuries. In connection with the incident that occurred on McEachron Drive on February 23, the Stoughton Police Department stated that they had detained three individuals early on Tuesday morning.
On that day, at approximately 11:20 p.m., the Stoughton police department got a 911 call reporting gunfire in the vicinity of McEachron Drive. Upon arrival at the location, law enforcement officers discovered shell casings, but they did not discover any victims.
On arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital, law enforcement officers saw a teenager receiving medical attention in the hospital’s emergency room. The sufferer, who had sustained severe injuries, was taken to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for subsequent treatment.
On Tuesday, the Stoughton Police Department announced that it has been working relentlessly to bring those involved in the shooting into jail. The officers have identified the individuals as Christopher King-Yancey and Joseph Millwood, both of whom are 18 years old. There was also an arrest made of a third male teen.
King-Yancey was taken into custody early on Tuesday morning after officials carried out a search warrant order at an apartment located on Reed Street in Randolph, according to the police. The charges against him include armed assault with the intent to murder, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, conspiracy to commit armed assault with the intent to murder, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition without a license. Millwood was brought into arrest after the police conducted a search warrant at a residence located on Webster Street in Randolph.
The following allegations have been brought against him: conspiracy to commit armed assault with the intent to murder; accessory before the fact; accessory after the fact; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily damage; and armed assault with the intent to murder. It is anticipated that King-Yancey and Millwood will come before the Stoughton District Court for their arraignment later on Tuesday. What is not obvious is whether or not they have obtained counsel who are able to comment on the charges.
The cops were unable to identify the third kid who was taken into custody. It is scheduled that he will be brought before the Dedham juvenile court for the charges of accessory before the fact, accessory after the fact, and conspiracy to armed assault before murder.
