Our darling Gordon Keen has passed away, and it is with a great deal of sorrow and a heavy heart that we finally say goodbye to him. Last night, in the peace and quiet of the night, Gordon set out on his final voyage, leaving behind precious memories that will long remain etched in our hearts.
He was surrounded by the affection of his family. Gordon embodied the exact essence of love, kindness, and warmth; he was more than simply a son, a father, a spouse, a brother, and an uncle.
He was the very embodiment of all of these things. His birth brought Joe and Rose a ray of sunshine and happiness into their life, making him a shining example of optimism and contentment. His love for Kenny and April was limitless, and he exerted an enduring influence on their lives by providing them with unflinching counsel and devotion.
He was a companion, a confidant, and a soulmate to Vicki, his cherished husband, and they shared the joys and sorrows of life together with steadfast devotion. Gordon’s presence was a thread of strength and togetherness in the family’s tapestry, which was woven throughout the family.
His love bonded his siblings, Marj, Amy, Bill, and Chris, as well as the person who is writing this tribute, together in an unbreakable bond. His laughter reverberated throughout the family, and his wisdom reverberated throughout the world.
As an uncle to Sarah, James, Daniel, Dustin, Matthew, Zack, Dana, and Shane, he bestowed upon them the gift of his presence, encouraging them to pursue their aspirations and cheering them on at every stage of their journey. As a way of honoring Gordon’s wishes, we have decided not to grieve his loss with solemn ceremonies but rather to celebrate the wonderful life he led, a life that was full of love, laughter, and moments that will live on in our memories forever.
Even though our hearts are breaking with loss, we take comfort in the knowing that Gordon’s spirit will continue to live on in the countless people that he impacted over the course of his life.
