Blake Harrison Obituary, Death, Singer Blake Harrison of Pig Destroyer Has Died

Blake Harrison, a previous member of the Pig Destroyer, has died away, which is really upsetting news to share with the rest of the Pig Destroyer membership. He had reach the age of 48. Harrison has been credited with contributions to a variety of projects, including Tentacles of God, Triac, Zealot R.I.P., Daybreak, and Hatebeak, despite the fact that he is primarily recognized for his work with the aforementioned Virginia-based grindcore band between the years 2006 to 2022.

In addition to his career in the music industry, Harrison was a regular contributor to the ‘For Those About to Squawk’ section that was published frequently in Decibel Magazine. After some time has passed, the magazine’s staff has confirmed that Harrison has passed away.

As the news of his demise spread around the metal scene, tributes from friends, fans, and musicians have begun to stream in. Many of these tributes have spoken of Harrison’s fantastic demeanor. Christopher Eustaquio, guitarist with Sunrot, said recently,

“Today, we all lost a good friend.” Blake was not only a significant source of motivation for me for a considerable amount of time, but we eventually became friends, and as a result, he became a significant supporter of what we undertook. It’s weird how life can be like that sometimes. I will be indebted to him for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace, Blake Harrison, for all eternity. Christoper Xavier Donovan, the proprietor of Reptilian Records, also shed as well. The passing of one of my favorites, Blake Harrison, who was also a genuine friend and a creative comedic genius, is something that I do with a great deal of regret. A member of Daybreak, Triac, and the brains behind Hatebeak,

Blake was always proud of the several times he appeared on Reptilian releases. Prior to touring many countries with Pig Destroyer, he was also a member of Daybreak and Triac. Over the course of several years, we spent our time together laughing, watching B-movies, talking about the Zodiac Killer, and having entire conversations that were comprised of quotations from Longmont Potion Castle.

Since my relocation to the south, we had maintained communication on a regular basis, and he had even paid me a few visits… An original, a character, a humorous creative force, and a buddy who was loyal and trustworthy, he was all of these things and more. It is a tragedy for all of us; he will be remembered fondly and will continue to exist in the memories, thoughts, and record collections of a great number of people.
