Mark Rubel Obituary, Death, Nashville Tennessee Person Has Died, Know More

Mark Ruble, 62, of Jacksonville, died at 1:41 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Mark was born August 27, 1955 in Pittsfield, the son of Robert Dean and Barbara Palmer Ruble. Mark worked for the State of Illinois at Jacksonville Developmental Center. He started a band called “Revelation” as the lead singer and guitarist. He loved hard rock, metal and coffee cakes. He was a die-hard St. Louis Blues fan. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Bethany Ruble of Springfield and Jill Johnson of Carrollton; siblings, Brian (Gwen) Ruble of Jacksonville and Debbie (Troy) Gregory of Meredosia; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and his lifelong best friends, Frank Schofield and Tim Farmer. Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

MARK AND MARGIE RUBLE, passed away together on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, in Ocala, Fla., in a motorcycle accident. Mark was 72 and Margie was 77. They were married for 25 years and were doing what they loved. Born Feb. 29, 1944, in Richmond, Ind., Margie was a daughter of Arlin Grieser and Evelyn M. (Chandler) Gaffney, later moving to Fort Wayne where Margie attended South Side High School. She worked mostly in advertising while living in Fort Wayne. She moved to Ocala, Fla., in 1992, to be with Mark. They enjoyed each other’s company, especially the many rides on their Harley motorcycle. Margie is survived by her children, Michael J. Tomson of Fort Wayne, Jennifer S. (Doug) Bowers of Leo, Ind., Wendi L. Cole (Shawn Hacker) of Auburn, Ind., and Fritz E. (Lisa) Rommel of Fort Wayne; sister, Vonda L. Gipson of New Port Richey, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, six great nephews, and one great niece.

She was preceded in death by her son, John M. Tomson formerly of Fort Wayne. Born April 5, 1949, in Lansing Mich., Mark was a son of Homer Dale and Marjorie (Pauline) Ruble. After the family moved to Bluffton, Ind., he graduated from Lancaster High School in 1967. He was drafted into the United States Army and went into the Special Forces Unit (Green Berets). After serving in Vietnam, Mark was awarded three Bronze Stars and several other Meritorious distinction medals for his outstanding service. Mark came back to Indiana and worked as a horseshoer because of his love of horses. He eventually moved to Ocala and continued his career until becoming a plumber until retiring in 2015.

Mark is survived by his brother, Phil (Mimi) Ruble; niece, Laurie (Michael) Michel; nephew, Craig Ruble; and three nephews and one niece, Kayla Hooks, Anthony Michel, Chase Ruble and Cole Ruble. Mark was very close to Margie’s children and grandchildren. Mark and Margie met in Fort Wayne in the 1990s and knew they would spend the rest of their lives together. They married in December of 1996 and shared their love for the outdoors with the wind at their backs on their motorcycle. They loved going to Daytona every year and visiting Margie’s family in Indiana, whom they were very close to. They also enjoyed visiting Marki’s brother, Phil, in California.

 On February 7, 2024, Ahmed Rubel, a renowned actor from Bangladesh, tragically succumbed to a heart attack at the age of 55. While en route to a movie screening, he unexpectedly lost consciousness, prompting an urgent transfer to the hospital, where he was ultimately declared deceased.

 Rubel began his acting career in theater and television, gaining fame for his roles in popular TV dramas like “Poka” and “Atithi.” He also made his mark in the world of movies, starring in films such as “Bachelor” and “Guerrilla.” The unexpected loss of Ahmed Rubel elicited profound sorrow, with even Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressing her grief. Despite his untimely departure, Rubel remained optimistic about his latest film, “Peyarar Subash,” which premiered at an international film festival. Ahmed Rubel will be fondly remembered for his noteworthy contributions to the entertainment industry.
