His passion for law led him to the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1973. After marrying Louise Marie Durr, Jack settled in Willimantic, CT, where he began his illustrious legal career. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1974 and subsequently to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 1975, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1976. Jack co-founded what is now known as Guarnaccia, Connors, Kalom & Zorn, LLC, specializing in elder law, real estate, estates, and estate planning.

Community Engagement and Family Life 

Jack’s commitment to his community was unparalleled. He actively participated in various local organizations, serving as Chairman of the Windham Charter Revision Commission, President of the Greater Willimantic Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the Windham Mills Development Corporation, among others. He was honored for his dedication by numerous organizations in Windham and Manchester. Beyond his professional and community endeavors, Jack cherished his time with his family. He shared adventures with his children and grandchildren, exploring the world, cooking gourmet meals, and indulging in his love for the ocean. His dedication to family extended to his involvement in various family-oriented organizations and activities.
