A Bright Light Gone Too Soon

Her warmth, compassion, and infectious laughter brightened the halls of our school, and her genuine kindness touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. As a senior in the Deaf department, Sa’Leigh was a cherished member of our community, and her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Though her time with us was far too short, Sa’Leigh’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A Beloved Member of the FSDB Family

Sa’Leigh was more than just a student; she was a beloved member of the FSDB family. Whether in the classroom, on the campus grounds, or participating in extracurricular activities, Sa’Leigh’s presence was felt by all. Her vibrant personality, positive attitude, and unwavering determination served as an inspiration to her peers and a testament to her resilience in the face of adversity. Sa’Leigh’s impact on our school community will be remembered and cherished for years to come.

In the wake of this tremendous loss, FSDB has implemented numerous supports to assist our students and staff as they navigate the grieving process. Counseling services, support groups, and additional resources have been made available to ensure that everyone affected by Sa’Leigh’s passing receives the care and support they need during this difficult time. Our school community stands united in solidarity, offering comfort, strength, and compassion to one another as we mourn the loss of a beloved member of our FSDB family.

Thoughts and Prayers

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sa’Leigh’s family, friends, and classmates as they mourn her passing and come to terms with the profound loss they have endured. May they find solace in the memories they shared with Sa’Leigh and take comfort in knowing that she will always hold a special place in their hearts. During this time of sorrow, may they find strength in the love and support of their FSDB family, and may they know that they are not alone in their grief. Sa’Leigh may be gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
