Colleen Margaret Obituary, Colleen Margaret Has Passed Away

 On the 24th of February 2024, the world bid farewell to a beloved soul, Colleen Margaret Killen. At the age of 90, Colleen passed away peacefully at Palm Lake Care Toowoomba, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. As we gather to honor her life, let us reflect on the profound impact she had on her family and community.

Colleen was the loving wife of Andy (dec), and together they shared a bond that transcended time. Her role as a mother and mother-in-law was central to her identity, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children: David & Janelle, Glen, Robyn & Wayne, Stephen & Alena, Mark, Brett & Janelle, and Andrea & Ronnie. Despite the challenges life presented, Colleen’s unwavering love and dedication to her family never faltered.

A Cherished Matriarch

Colleen’s love extended beyond her immediate family to her grandchildren—20 in total—and her great-grandchildren—24 in number. Her home was always filled with laughter and joy as she delighted in the company of her beloved descendants. Colleen’s presence brought comfort and warmth to all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of generations to come. As we gather to celebrate Colleen’s life, we do so with gratitude for the countless blessings she bestowed upon us. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and boundless love enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

Funeral Service Details

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service to celebrate Colleen’s life. The service will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, George Street Inglewood, on Tuesday, March 5th, commencing at 11:00 am.

Following the service, the cortege will proceed to the Inglewood Lawn Cemetery, where Colleen will be laid to rest.
