With heavy hearts, we come together to honor the life and memory of Pamela (Shank) Yates, a cherished friend, mother, daughter, and fiancée. Pam touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering friendship. Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this tribute, we celebrate the life and legacy of a remarkable woman who will be dearly missed. Pamela (Pam) Yates and I shared a bond that spanned decades. Our friendship began when we were just teenagers, and despite the ups and downs of life, we remained steadfast companions for the majority of our lives. Pam’s infectious laughter, caring nature, and unwavering loyalty were the hallmarks of our friendship, and I am forever grateful for the memories we shared.
A Beloved Mother and Sister
Pamela (Shank) Yates was a devoted mother to her children: Ashley Neeson and Katelyn Yates. Her love and devotion to her daughters knew no bounds, and she took great pride in watching them grow into the remarkable women they are today.
Though she faced her share of challenges, Pam’s strength and resilience never wavered, and her daughters were a constant source of joy and inspiration to her. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Norman Ray Shank, her beloved son, Chrisley Yates Jr., and her sister, Deborah Shank. While the pain of their loss weighs heavy on our hearts, we take solace in the knowledge that Pam is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Though they may be gone from our sight, they will never be forgotten, and their memory will continue to live on in our hearts.
Cherished Memories
Throughout her life, Pam touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, generosity, and infectious spirit. Whether she was lending a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or simply sharing a laugh, Pam had a knack for making everyone she met feel loved and valued. Her legacy of compassion and friendship will continue to inspire us all for years to come. Pamela (Shank) Yates passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 63. Her visitation was held at Giovanini Funeral Home on February 22, 2024, where friends and family gathered to pay their respects and honor her memory. Final Resting Place
Following the service, Pam was laid to rest at Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute, near her sister, Debbie, and her maternal grandparents, Verlin “Bus” and Betty Funkhouser. It is a fitting final resting place for a woman who held her family close to her heart and cherished the memories of her loved ones.
As we bid farewell to Pamela (Shank) Yates, let us remember her not for the sadness of her passing, but for the love, laughter, and joy she brought into our lives.
