Jetta Hamilton Obituary, In Loving Memory of Jetta Hamilton – Death

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jetta Ann Hamilton, who departed this life on February 13, 2024, at the age of 72. Jetta, a beloved resident of Portsmouth, Ohio, was born in Otway, Ohio, and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew her.

As we mourn her loss, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Jetta’s life and sharing memories on this memorial page. Jetta was a loving mother, devoted friend, and cherished member of her community. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of countless people with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering kindness.

Her laughter was contagious, her smile could light up a room, and her presence brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Edward Davis and Fern Viola Honaker Davis, as well as her brother, Phillip Ray Davis.

Although she is no longer with us, Jetta’s memory will live on through her son, Chester Hamilton of Portsmouth, her grandson, James Reeves of West Union, and her close friend, Brenda Pertuset of McDermott. Jetta’s impact extended far beyond her immediate family and friends. She was known for her compassionate nature and her willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was offering words of encouragement, sharing a comforting hug, or simply listening with an empathetic ear, Jetta had a gift for making others feel loved and valued.

In addition to her kindness, Jetta was also known for her zest for life and her adventurous spirit. She embraced every opportunity to explore new places, try new experiences, and make lasting memories with those she held dear. Her love for life was infectious, and she inspired others to live each day to the fullest.

As we say goodbye to Jetta, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
