James Thron Obituary, James Thron Has Died – Death

It is with heavy hearts that I share with you the news of a great loss in our family. On Sunday, we bid farewell to my father, James M. Thron, whose presence and spirit have been an integral part of The Chic from its very inception. As we navigate through these difficult days, I find solace in the memories of my father’s unwavering love, boundless enthusiasm, and cherished contributions to our community.

From the moment The Chic opened its doors, my father was there, a steadfast presence and a true aficionado of all things vintage and fun. Many of you may recall seeing him playing with his train, a cherished hobby that brought him immense joy and countless smiles.

His love for the railroad extended beyond mere fascination; it was a passion that he delighted in sharing with others, especially the children who frequented The Chic.

There was nothing quite like the sight and sound of my father running the train for the kids, sounding off the whistles, and calling out “all aboard” with the enthusiasm of a true conductor. His infectious energy and genuine warmth made every visit to The Chic a memorable experience for all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. As we come to terms with the loss of my father, I find comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through the cherished memories we hold dear and the traditions he helped establish at The Chic.

In his honor, I am excited to announce the creation of a Fun & Vintage display, dedicated to preserving his memory and celebrating his love for all things retro and whimsical. And, of course, the train will play a central role in this tribute, a fitting homage to a man who brought so much joy to others through his beloved hobby. To all of our Chic friends, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Your love and kindness have been a source of comfort to my family and me, and we are truly grateful for your presence in our lives. In closing, let us remember James M. Thron as not only a beloved father and Chic enthusiast but also as a beacon of joy, laughter, and love. His spirit will continue to guide us as we carry on his legacy and continue to spread happiness and nostalgia to all who enter The Chic’s doors.
