Melvin Schulte Obituary, A Tribute To A Life Well-Lived – Death

 The community of Jefferson City, Missouri, mourns the passing of a beloved member, Melvin W. Schulte, who peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the age of 85. Melvin’s life was a testament to love, family, and the enduring power of partnership.

Born on August 5, 1938, in Mary’s Home, Missouri, Melvin was the son of the late Richard and Katie Kempker Schulte. From a young age, he possessed a kind heart, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for his family and community.

In the seventh grade, Melvin met the love of his life, Dolores Ann Berendzen Schulte, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship. On August 29, 1959, Melvin and Dolores exchanged vows in Mary’s Home, Missouri, marking the beginning of a partnership built on love, trust, and mutual respect. For more than 64 years, Melvin was the heart and soul of a home filled with love and laughter. His greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved family, cherishing every moment shared with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Melvin was known for his unwavering devotion to his family and his steadfast commitment to those he loved. Whether he was sharing stories around the dinner table, teaching his children life’s valuable lessons, or simply offering a listening ear, Melvin’s presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him.
