Dr. John G. Sparrow was a renowned physician in Jackson, Tennessee. He passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 67. The community is in mourning. Dr. Sparrow was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on May 11, 1956. Everyone who knew Dr. Sparrow could see how much he loved his family, especially his son John “J.G.” Sparrow. He also held great affection for his large Filipino family. During his free time, he enjoyed traveling, particularly to beach locations, and he and his son would create cherished memories when going deep-sea fishing. A devoted Mississippi State Bulldogs fan, Dr. Sparrow was a well-known figure at tailgates, wearing his school pride on his sleeve.
