On July 17, 2023, John Theodore Curlee, who had been born in Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away at Beacon Place. He had been a resident of Greensboro for his whole life. Decades had passed since he had first settled down in Greensboro. As time went on, he reached the age of 83 years old when he left. He had reached this age when he left.
A Lifetime of Love and Companionship:
It is planned that a memorial service will be held on the Saturday, July 22, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, in honor of the individual who has passed away as a result of their death. When John passed away, his body was laid to rest in the Columbarium of the First Baptist Church, which he had been a member of for more than half a century at the time of his passing. Within the walls of the church, John’s body was laid to rest.

On the fourteenth of June in the year 1940, John Curlee was born in Winston-Salem. This was the spot where he was born. It is his birthday on June 14th, and he will be celebrating it. In the role of becoming his parents, Arley Curlee and Eloise Vaughan Curlee were the individuals who were responsible for taking on the obligation. In honor of both of his parents, his mother gave him the names of both of them. It was at North Carolina State University that he earned his undergraduate degree, and it was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that he completed his doctoral studies.

He continued to have a chuckle that was laid-back and friendly, and he continued to take pleasure in having impromptu discussions with people, regardless of whether they were friends or strangers. This was despite the fact that his health was deteriorating. In spite of the fact that his health was deteriorating, he continued to laugh at times like this. Many different kinds of animals were drawn to him as a result of his calm and affectionate demeanor, which allowed him to attract them all.
A Heartfelt Goodbye:
He enjoyed singing, working with his hands, shooting photographs, and spending time in the great outdoors. These were some of his favorite activities. Those who are left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 49 years, Ellen Curlee, to whom he was deeply connected; his son, Matt Curlee, and his partner, Aparna Das, of Rochester, New York; his brother, Wilson Curlee, and his wife Jenni, of Blackfoot, Idaho; and his grandson, James Curlee.
