After having a stroke the day before, Marianne Hunt, who was 75 years old at the time of her passing, passed away in a calm and serene manner on January 19, 2024 in Murray, Utah. She was surrounded by her family. Kenneth Ralph and Audrey (Paxman) Tobler welcomed their daughter into the world on July 20, 1948, in the city of St. George, Utah. In 1966, she received her diploma from Rancho High School, which is located in North Las Vegas.
During her tenure at Brigham Young University, she became acquainted with Bruce LaMont Hunt, who would become her lifelong companion. In 1971, they were married in the St. George Temple, where they were sworn together for all of eternity. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1971, specifically with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations.
Marianne exemplified the concept of Christlike love and generosity, and she will be much missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Marianne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to everyone she met. She touched the lives of all those she came in contact with. She loved you right away and adored everything about you, even before she knew anything about you.
She loved you for everything you were. Due to the fact that she effectively made everyone believe that they were, in fact, her favourite, everyone claimed to be her favourite.
Marianne was the epitome of what it means to be a doting mother. She devoted her entire life to the task of bringing up her three sons and two daughters in accordance with the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which she ardently believed in from the beginning.
As a mother, she was able to achieve great success in her chosen job, and she never regrets making this decision. When each of her children got married, she refused to call their husbands “in-laws” and instead accepted them as her own children. She did this every time her children were married.
