On September 28, 2021, Christian Olsen Penner, who was 69 years old at the time of his death, passed away peacefully in his house in Troy, with his wife by his side. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1952 to his mother, JoAnn Olsen Klever. Not long after he was born, his parents went through a divorce.
In the next year, JoAnn Penner tied the knot with Joe Penner, and Chris was adopted by him. During the time when his father was employed in the construction industry, he and his family travelled along the west coast by following Joe.
At long last, they arrived in Boise, Idaho, where Chris attended a number of different schools. Chris entered the Navy in 1952 and served until the end of the Vietnam War, when he was discharged with honour due to his service. In 1987, he relocated to Phoenix, and it was there that he met Betty Lou McClelland.
The couple went on to get married in 1988. After coming back to Boise, Idaho, he worked for Willis Shaw Express for a number of years, during which time he was able to obtain the coveted distinction for driving one million miles without being involved in any accidents or receiving any tickets.
The decision to hire him as a driver instructor in Boise and Elm Springs, Arkansas, came about while he was there. Chris made the purchase of his own truck in the year 2001 when he was employed for Martin Transport. Trailer Convoy was the new location for his truck. In the company of his cherished feline companion, Bisquit, he traversed the world from north to south and coast to coast. He was successful in scattering Bisquit’s paw prints across all 48 states in the lower 48.
He launched his own company, C & B Mobile Truck Alignments, after he retired from the trucking industry in the year 2003. Due to his meticulous attention to detail as well as his professional and ethical business methods, he garnered a great deal of respect. His notoriety extended much beyond the boundaries of Montana.
