Born on January 21, 1945, in Hazleton, Buster was the son of the late Robert and Catherine Woodring. His roots in the Hazleton area were deep, and over the years, he witnessed the changing landscapes of both his hometown and his own life. In 1986, he settled in Sugarloaf, where he spent the remainder of his life alongside his loving wife, Barbara.

He served as a Construction Foreman for Slusser Brothers/Pennsy Supply until his well-deserved retirement in 2017. Their journey of more than five decades was marked by shared joys, triumphs, and the enduring strength of their bond. Together, they weathered the storms of life and celebrated its brightest moments.
