Unfortunately, we must inform you that our dearly loved Mike Cooley has passed away. It is with a heavy heart that we do so. Earlier this morning, he passed away in a calm and serene manner at home, surrounded by the love of his family. The knowledge that Mike lived a life that was full of love, courage, and strength provides us with some measure of comfort as we come to grips with this loss.
In the present moment, preparations are being made for a memorial service that will take place in DeMotte. In spite of the fact that the particulars have not yet been settled upon, we are having preliminary discussions about holding the service on either February 6th or February 7th. Once all of the arrangements have been finalised, we will post the confirmed date and keep you updated on the situation.
Mike was a true superhero, a real-life Superman who tackled the obstacles that life presented with unyielding fortitude and resiliency regardless of the circumstances. His spirit remained unconquerable right up until the very end, leaving behind an impressive legacy of bravery and motivation that will last forever.
