A Dedicated School Bus Driver and Volunteer

Nancy dedicated forty years of her life as a school bus driver, serving the Kingston Community Schools and Darby Schools. Her commitment to the well-being of the community extended beyond her role as a bus driver. Nancy volunteered at the Human Development Commission, where she drove seniors, embodying a sense of duty and compassion towards the elderly. Known for her prowess as a talented seamstress, Nancy showcased her creativity at Ashers Men’s Shop in Caro, where she performed alterations. Her nimble fingers and creative spirit also found expression in crocheting numerous lap robes for residents in the VA Hospital and the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. Nancy’s hands brought warmth and comfort to those in need.

A Green Thumb and Outdoor Enthusiast

Nancy’s love for nature was evident in the beautiful outdoor flowers she nurtured. Her garden bloomed with vibrant colors, reflecting the care and attention she poured into cultivating the beauty around her. Nancy was a member of the Kingston Community Church, where her faith was a guiding force in her life.
