I ran into Garrett a few months ago, and it was the first time in all the years that I have known him that I had ever seen him by himself. It was also the only time that I had ever seen him by himself. Garrett was never apart from other people.
He had a knack for making people happy! Love was unquestionably a term that evoked action! Without a doubt, he elaborated on the concept of support! He had a smile that was infectious!
As someone who has been coaching for a considerable amount of time, I am aware that days such as today are without a doubt the most challenging aspect of the job. The only thing that Garrett wanted to do when he was younger was play baseball, and as a result, I know that a lot of coaches and organisations had the opportunity to witness his radiance and happiness. When I decided to stop Impact a few years ago, I was aware that the connections and impact would continue to exist indefinitely.
Ever since that time, the phrase that has been used is “once family, always family!” Influence the family. Because Garrett’s family and countless friends are grieving the death of a wonderful person, my family and Team Impact are praying fervently for them this morning and every day as they go through this difficult time.
Also, I would want to use this opportunity to add that I adore my guys and ladies, who are now primarily comprised of men and women.
