Recent news reports indicate that our good buddy Jim (Saunders), who was a treasured member of the 2nd Tenors, has died away. I am compelled to inform you of the tragic news of his passing, and I do so with a great deal of regret and sorrow. It was last night when he left us, and his departure has created a void in our lives that can never be filled. in the midst of this period of silence.
ensuring that this message gets conveyed to all individuals, particularly those who would not have been able to receive it through this specific channel, is a responsibility that ultimately falls under my purview. Jim exemplified the values of brilliance, friendship, and friendliness that were prevalent throughout our group. He was a shining example of these wonderful attributes. Beyond being a fellow singer, he was more than that.
His absence will be visible and painfully felt during rehearsals, performances, and the innumerable moments we enjoyed with both on and off stage. His absence will be palpable and felt intensely.
