Our wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, Churchill Ebersey, passed away recently. It is with heavy hearts and tremendous regret that we relay the news of his departure. Milpark Hospital was the location where he passed away without any discomfort on the 17th of January, 2024, at 18:45.
His passing has left a vacuum that will never be replaced. During this time of sorrow, we have gathered to honour the amazing man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who knew him and to celebrate the rich tapestry of a life that was lived to the fullest.
Churchill was more than just a member of our family; he was the rock upon which our family was built, a provider of unflinching love, unyielding wisdom, and unwavering support.
He was a tower of strength in his role as a spouse; he was a guiding light in his role as a father; he was a confidant in his role as a brother; he was a mentor in his role as an uncle; he was a source of joy and laughter in his role as a grandfather; and he was a friend and a treasured companion.
His presence brought light into our lives, and his memory will be woven into the fabric of our family’s history for all time to come. When we hear the news that Churchill has passed away peacefully, we are overcome with a range of feelings, including sadness for the loss, gratitude for the times we spent together, and a profound appreciation for the influence he had on our lives.
Because of his passing, we are left with an inheritance of love, resiliency, and the innumerable memories that we cherish tremendously.
