Evelyn Corinne Obituary, Evelyn Corinne Has Passed Away – Death

Evelyn Somers was born on October 18th, 1929, in the house of her parents, Harry and Ethel (Groskreutz) Somers. She was the fifth child out of a total of six. It was the Highline School District that she attended. Evelyn stated that she had a great deal of love from her family even though they did not have any money, running water, or power when she was growing up. The lessons of love, perseverance, and hard work were passed on to her by her parents. She would tell tales about the fun times she had as a youngster growing up, and she would treasure the memories she had of those times.

In 1949, on January 3, Fredrick Curcio and Evelyn tied the knot. In May of 1956, they relocated to Des Moines, Washington. Throughout their seventy-five years of marriage, they had a profound affection for one another. Throughout the many years that Evelyn endured physical agony, she was able to persevere because of the love, care, attention, and devotion that she received from her husband. Grammy was the affectionate nickname that Evelyn’s relatives gave her. Her family consists of five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two children: Cheryl Peters, who is married to Michael and lives in Walla Walla, and Jay Curcio, who is married to Geri and lives in Monroe.

As soon as they were blessed with two children, family became their top focus, and Evelyn prioritised the requirements of her family over her own requirements.

Despite the fact that Fred and Eve lived from paycheck to paycheck, they were able to maintain a comfortable home thanks to Evelyn’s expertise in finance and her dedication to adhere to their budget. Love and a strong foundation for life were bestowed upon their daughter and son as a result of this.

Evelyn filled the role of the family’s focal point and served as the glue that held us all together. She spent a lot of love, time, and attention on all of her family since she took a particular interest in each and every one of them. By using the telephone, cards, letters, e-mail, and Facebook, she maintained her connections with other people. Her intention was to share with others the interesting pieces that she had clipped from the newspaper.

Her birthday was never forgotten by her. A custom that she established for the family was to call and sing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday person. Due to the fact that Evelyn had a deep affection for chocolate, she was presented with a box of See’s chocolates on her birthday and on other occasions.
