Brenda Jo Long Obituary, Brenda Jo Long Has Passed Away – Death

Brenda Jo Long, who was 82 years old at the time of her passing, died away without any discomfort on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. Her parents, Robert and Josephine (Johnson) Danner, welcomed her into the world on February 25, 1941, in the town of Millersburg, Ohio. After completing her high school education at Loudonville High School, where she was a member of the Band and played percussion.

Brenda went on to complete her nursing education at Samaritan School of Nursing, from which she graduated in 1962. She tied the knot with Kenneth R. Long on June 29, 1963, and the couple remained married for a total of 45 years until his final dying in November of 2008.

In the early 1990s, Brenda retired from her position as a Registered Nurse, which she had held for close to 25 years. The majority of her professional life was spent working at the Loudonville Nursing Home as well as other nursing facilities located in the Loudonville area.

Both the First Presbyterian Church in Loudonville and the American Legion Women’s Axillary in Loudonville counted Brenda as a member to their respective organisations. She was a devoted sports enthusiast who used to enjoy rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, and the Loudonville Redbirds.

Card games and lighthouse collecting were two of Brenda’s favourite things to do in her leisure time. She was looking forward to the solar eclipse, the Browns winning the Super Bowl, and watching the summer Olympics before she passed away.

She was also looking forward to the solar eclipse. A large number of nieces and nephews, as well as her sons Jeff Long and Douglas Long, as well as her brothers David Danner and Jim Danner, both of whom are married to Linda, are among those who survive her.
