Patrick, who was 52 years old and lived in Durham, North Carolina, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 16, 2023, and went to be with her Lord and Saviour. On May 7, 1971, she was born in Durham, North Carolina, to Mrs. Judith Knott and the late John Knott.
When Ms. Patrick was employed by Mutual Wholesale Drugs, she held the position of Customer Service Representative for more than 25 years. At Shady Grove Church, she had been a member for a very long time.
Jan’s favourite activities included visiting to the theatre, travelling with her friends, and reading a wide range of different kinds of books, particularly romance novels. She cherished her family beyond all else, and she eagerly anticipated spending time with them whenever she could.
A beautiful mother, a wonderful sister, a terrific aunt, and a good friend to many people, Jan will be remembered as a woman who was caring, altruistic, strong, and cheerful. She will also be remembered as a wonderful aunt. Her passing will be deeply mourned by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Both of Jan’s parents and her brother, Merle Knott, passed away before she did.
