Freddy Dale Obituary, Freddy Dale Has Passed Away – Death

Frederick “Freddy” Dale Hamilton, who was 76 years old when he passed away on March 9, 2016, did so in a calm and serene manner while he was sleeping. Over the course of the previous few years, he has bravely fought Alzheimer’s illness, continuing to maintain his spirit throughout the ordeal.

Fred Hamilton was born in Calera, Oklahoma on January 26, 1940. His parents were Andrew Hamilton and Lillian (Pearce) Hamilton.

On March 12, 1964, he tied the knot with Linda Sue Snodgrass, who was from Bennington, Oklahoma. They had been married for 29 years when she passed away in 1993, during which time they had raised one son together. In 1958, he received his diploma from Calera High School, and he has proudly lived in Calera, Oklahoma throughout his entire life. Durant, Oklahoma was the location of his attendance at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. After first serving in the 45th Infantry of the Oklahoma National Guard, he later changed to the 95th Infantry of the Army Reserve, where he remained for a total of eight years.

Over the course of his life, he had positions at Cherokee Telephone, John Mansfield, and the Golden Peanut Company (formerly known as the De Leon Peanut Company), from which he eventually retired in the year 2003.

Being a member of such a loving and close-knit working family for such a long period of time appeared to him to be a blessing. As a member of the Rising Star Lodge of Calera, he held the honour of being a 33rd Degree Mason with great pride.

As a result of Fred’s marriage to Peggy Weemes Thomas, who was from Bennington, Oklahoma, on December 31, 2000, his life was irrevocably altered. They shared many joyful years together, during which they engaged in activities such as fishing and hunting, camping, and simply being with one another.

Fred cherished the time he had to spend with his cherished family, especially when he was able to observe his grandchildren engaging in the myriad of things they experienced and running around the farm. Family was the thing that Fred felt to be the greatest blessing in his life.
