Mary Hobbs’s Death Notice and Obituary – Mary K. Hobbs, age 77, of Pittston, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in the safety and comfort of her own home. She had been ill for a length of time, during which she was getting care from the Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Charles Helfrich, who had gone away before, and Genevieve Keating Helfrich, who was born in Wilkes-Barre on August 2, 1945, were the parents of Mary Helfrich. Mary Helfrich was the daughter of Charles Helfrich.
Mary was a member of the cheerleading squad at St. Leo’s High School in Ashley, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with the class of 1963. She was also a member of the graduating graduation class. Ten years of her life were spent in the Niagara Falls, New York area, where she enjoyed a wonderful existence. After that, she relocated to the Back Mountain region and remained there for a considerable amount of time.
Mary has a strong desire to travel to different locations, and she just celebrated her 53rd wedding anniversary in Hawaii after travelling to Hawaii. Due to the fact that she was fortunate enough to go to Europe and the Caribbean on several occasions with her family and friends, she found that the experience of cruising was one that she thoroughly liked. It was with great anticipation that she anticipated the trips to Aruba that she would take with her closest friends.
There was something about her annual “Girls Weekends” that she looked forward to with great excitement. During a significant period of time, Mary was a devoted member of the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, which is located in Dallas, Pennsylvania. She was a woman who had a strong religion. The most important thing in Mary’s life was her family, and she made it a point to cherish every moment she spent with her loved ones, especially her grandkids.
Mary’s family was the source of the greatest joy in her life. Mary’s sister Nancy Antolik, her brother Charles, and her brother-in-law Michael Klitchko were the individuals who had before her in death. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jesse; two lovely daughters who comforted her in her final days, Karen Atkinson and her husband Duane, of Dallas; Jennifer Hillman, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two grandchildren, Ian and Jessica Atkinson, of Dallas; and her sister Jeanne Klitchko and brother Gerald Helfrich, of Nalcrest, Florida.
Her memory will be cherished by those who still have the opportunity to do so. In addition, there are a great number of nieces and nephews that are kind and affectionate. Lastly, the family of Mary would like to take this opportunity to express their appreciation to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the care and guidance that they offered during Mary’s final weeks of hospitalisation. A funeral service is scheduled to take place at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Dallas, Pennsylvania, which can be found at 420 Main Street. The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 13, 2023 at twelve o’clock noon.
