He is held in very high regard by Joan and Peter, who are his brother and brother-in-law respectively.
Because he is their uncle, Scott, Brett, Nicola, and Craig all hold him in very high regard to this day. When it came to his nieces and nephews in Australia and Canada, he was a treasured great-uncle. In addition, Jesse, Anya, and Toby considered him to be a very wonderful great-uncle.
