On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Brian James Bauer, who was 45 years old and lived in Clinton, passed away at his residence. Elvira Zion Lutheran Church will be the location of the funeral services that will take place on Saturday, March 18th, at 11 AM.
The church will be open for visitation beginning at nine in the morning and continuing until the hour of the service. This family is receiving assistance from the Pape Funeral Home. The 10th of July, 1977 found Brian Bauer being born in Clinton. He was the son of James Bauer and Linda (Nielsen) Bauer. In the year 1995, he received his diploma from Northeast High School. On June 27th, 2006, he tied the knot with Kristina Miller. At the ALCOA, Brian was employed as an electrician and maintenance worker.
It was the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church that he attended regularly. In addition to being a teacher for the local hunter’s safety school, Brian was an avid outdoorsman who liked fishing, hunting, and trapping.
In addition to his devoted wife, Kristina, he is survived by his two children, Gauge and Gretchen Bauer; his mother, Linda Bauer, who resides in Clinton; his brother, Chris Bauer, who is married to Carrie, also residing in Clinton; his sister, Angie Maze, also residing in Clinton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
It was his daughter Kylie, who passed away in 2007, as well as his father and his grandparents who came before him in death.
