Ronald Musiak Obituary, Death And Funeral Details

Ronald E. Musiak and the Westfield era, which lasted from 1941 until 2024 Baystate Noble Hospital was the location where Ronald E. Musiak, who was 82 years old at the time of his passing, died away in a peaceful and tranquil manner on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He was encircled by his kind and loving family friends.

He was born on November 27, 1941, and in addition to being the son of Felix and Josie (Wytaniec) Musiak, who both passed away, he was also the son of this couple. His upbringing and education took place in Chicopee, and he received his high school diploma from Chicopee High School.

Over the course of his service in the United States Navy, Ronald was a veteran who served on the USS Long Beach. In the beginning of his academic career, he attended Western New England College and received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.

After that, he continued his education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, where he received a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering during his time there. Finally, he completed his education at the University of Massachusetts, where he received a Doctor of Philosophy degree.

Following his retirement from his post as a professor of electrical engineering at Western New England University in 2014, Ron made the decision to continue his teaching career by taking on the role of an adjunct professor until the year 2023. Some of his favourite things to do included painting, reading, going on trips, and working as a consultant.

There are a number of people who are left behind, including his loving wife of fifty-three years, Susan B. (Szymczyk) Musiak, his dedicated son Matthew Musiak and his wife Elena Massa-Musiak, and his cherished grandson Aidan Musiak.

Ronald is survived by all of these people. Cathy Musiak, his sister, was the one who had passed away prior to his very own passing. This coming Friday, the funeral services for Ronald will be held at the Kozikowski Funeral Home, which can be found in Chicopee at 565 Front Street. St. Stanislaus Basilica will be the location of the Mass of Christian Burial that will take place at ten o’clock in the morning once these festivities have concluded. The St. Stanislaus Cemetery will serve as the final resting place for the deceased.
