It is Stavros ‘Steve’ GIANTSOPOULOS who is the On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the age of 76, he passed away in a calm and serene manner in his residence, surrounded by the affection of his family. Being a dedicated father to Anna (Evangelos), Christina (Phil), Mary, and Stephanie (Abed), as well as a beloved husband to Konstantina, who he has been married to for 46 years.
He is a devoted uncle to his special nephew Jimmy, who is named Sandra. To Tyfron, Alexandra, and Konstantina, Papou was a treasured possession. In addition to his sister Agapi and his brother Peter (Kathy), he leaves behind a large number of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will always remember him. It was in 1964 when Steve made the journey from Greece to Canada.
Up to the time when he moved to Welland, he was employed in Toronto for a considerable amount of time. Between the years 1978 and 1995, he and his wife were the proprietors and operators of the Double N Restaurant, which was located in the Seaway Mall. He was a fantastic dad and husband, and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm at the Patterson Funeral Home, which is located at 6062 Main Street in Niagara Falls.
Friends are welcome to join the family there. It is planned that Steve will travel back to Greece, his country of origin, in order to attend a Funeral Service.
