Steve Alvarez Obituary Buffalo NY, Buffalo Police Officer Has Passes Away -Death

When he was 64 years old, Steven ‘Steve’ Y. Alvarez died away in a calm and serene manner on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Vicente and Juanita Alvarez welcomed their son into the world on March 16, 1957 in Indio, California. In 1975, he received his diploma from Coachella Valley High School, and he wore his green and gold with a proud expression on his face. The following year, he enrolled at CSUSB and majored in Criminal Justice.

YouTube and Facebook (search for Oasis Apostolic Church) will be used to webcast the Celebration of Life service that will take place on December 13th. Those who are coming from out of town to attend the services are encouraged to get in touch with the Hampton Inn & Suites Indio in order to receive discounted hotel rates between December 12 and December 14. For more information, please call (760) 227-1900 and mention the Steve Alvarez Funeral.

In 1991, he relocated to Sacramento in order to have a family with Margaret, and in 1994, they became parents to a daughter to whom they named Sara. Over the course of thirty years, he worked for the California Youth Authority as a Correctional Peace Officer during his tenure there. Together with his family and friends, Steve had a life that was filled with fun. In addition to going to concerts, he enjoyed fishing and searching for the finest discounts in town.

Due to his charisma and charity, he was able to easily make friends with people he had never met before. There was nothing that he enjoyed more than having a delicious meal with wonderful company, engaging in conversation, and telling stories. His daughter, Sara, his father, Vicente, his siblings (Vincent II, Lisa, Lucita ‘Tootie, June, and Esperanza), and his numerous nephews and nieces are among those who are able to carry on his legacy. Certainly, he will be sorely missed.
