An attack with a firearm that took place tonight in west Dublin resulted in the death of one guy and left another man in critical condition. A restaurant located on Blanchardstown’s Main Street was the location where the event took place.
It appears that the deceased man, who was in his twenties, was stabbed to death. It is believed that he was one of the individuals who carried out the shooting.
He is currently in critical condition in the hospital after being shot. The victim is a man in his forties. There was a firearm found at the scene of the crime. In the most recent instance of gangland gun violence, which took place on Christmas Eve, shortly after 8 o’clock, customers, including families with children, were dining out together.
A father and son who were already present at the restaurant and were known to the garda were the targets of a gunman who arrived and fired several shots at them. Several customers yelled and ran away.
The parents hurried out of the building while holding their young children for dear life. After being shot, a guy in his forties sustained life-threatening injuries. In the critical state that he is currently in at Connolly Hospital, he was driven there by a relative.
As a result of being tackled at the scene, the gunman sustained injuries that were fatal.After receiving treatment at the scene, he was transported to Connolly Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short while later. Paramedics began their treatment immediately. Blanchardstown Gardai have established a thorough investigation into the matter.
