We said goodbye to Cary Curcio, who was a dear friend and a respected pool player, at a very sad and upsetting time. People who were lucky enough to know Cary will always remember the good times they had with him, laughing, making friends, and, of course, hitting great shots at the pool. People who knew Cary are still feeling the effects of hearing about his death.
Cary was more than just a friend; he was a master of the cue and a player whose skill made many games fun and exciting. He played. His true love for the game was contagious, and his friendships went far beyond the pool hall. The friendly, sportsmanlike behavior that Cary showed toward his peers forever changed the close-knit group of players who shared his love for the game.
We will miss Cary Curcio, but we will always remember the endless hours we spent together, the friendly competitions we had, and the successes and mistakes we shared.
Everyone in the pool hall felt better when he was there, and each game became an experience that everyone would remember for a long time.
During this hard time, our thoughts and prayers are with Cary’s family and friends. Please know that we are very sorry for your loss. May the thought that Cary’s memory will live on in the good memories of the people who were lucky enough to have sat down with him bring them comfort in this time of grief.
This may be true, but those who were lucky enough to have known Cary will always remember the sound of his laughter and the balls breaking. Hey friend, I hope you finally get some rest.
