Tim Biddle Obituary, Remembering Affiliated Photographer

Throughout his tenure at NILMDTS, Tim took on various crucial roles within our organization, showcasing his versatility and deep commitment to our cause. As an Affiliated Photographer, he used his photographic skills to capture poignant and meaningful images for families who were navigating the painful journey of infant loss. In addition to his role as a photographer, Tim also served as an Area Coordinator, playing a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting volunteers within his region. His organizational skills and compassionate approach made him an invaluable asset, ensuring that our services reached those who needed them most.

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Tim Biddle, a cherished member of our Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) family. Tim’s journey with our organization was marked by unwavering dedication, compassion, and a profound commitment to our mission of providing remembrance photography to families experiencing the loss of a baby. Tim Biddle wasn’t just a volunteer; he was a beacon of light for those in their darkest moments. His impact was far-reaching, and his legacy will forever be imprinted on the hearts of the families he served and the volunteers he inspired.

Tim’s dedication extended beyond the lens and coordination responsibilities; he was also an essential member of the Volunteer Application Committee. In this role, he played a crucial part in shaping the volunteer experience at NILMDTS, ensuring that our team continued to attract compassionate and skilled individuals who shared our commitment to supporting grieving families.

Over the years, Tim selflessly served over 100 families, providing them with a tangible and heartfelt way to remember and honor their babies. His photography not only captured moments but also created lasting memories for families during a time of unimaginable grief.

Tim Biddle’s impact went beyond the families he directly served. He was a mentor and teacher, generously sharing his knowledge and skills with countless other volunteers. His willingness to impart his expertise ensured that the ripple effect of his compassion extended far beyond the families he personally touched.

As we reflect on Tim’s legacy, we celebrate a life dedicated to making a difference. He embodied the spirit of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, providing solace and support to families when they needed it most.

In honor of Tim Biddle’s memory, NILMDTS will be establishing a scholarship fund to support training and development opportunities for new volunteers. This initiative aims to carry forward Tim’s legacy by empowering others to follow in his compassionate footsteps. The loss of Tim is deeply felt within our organization, but we find solace in the knowledge that his impact will endure through the countless families he touched and the volunteers he inspired. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Tim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
