Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jamie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country for an admirable 14 years. On April 15, 2015, Jamie married the love of his life, Katharine Parks.
Together, they created a warm and loving home in Bolivar. Jamie’s devotion to his family was unwavering, and he leaves behind a wife and three children. Bryer Alan Jones of Dover, Levi Robert Jones, and James William Jones, both of whom reside at home, will forever carry the memory of their loving father in their hearts.
On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, the community of Bolivar mourned the untimely passing of Jamie A. Jones, a beloved member of the community who touched the lives of many. Born on December 21, 1988, in Massillon, Jamie was the cherished son of James N. and Cindy (Baker) Jones, residents of Dundee.
At the age of 34, Jamie’s life was tragically cut short, leaving behind a legacy that reflected his commitment to family, service, and a life lived on his terms. His impact resonated not only through his professional endeavors but also in the hearts of those who knew him personally.
Jamie found his calling as a well head technician for Revolution Energy Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His dedication to his work was evident, and he took pride in contributing to the energy sector. Jamie’s skills and commitment earned him the respect of colleagues and made a lasting impact on the industry
In addition to his immediate family, Jamie is survived by his parents, James and Cindy Jones, and his sister, Jessica (Joseph) Peterman of Strasburg. He was also a cherished uncle to a niece and two nephews, extending his impact beyond the nuclear family and into the extended circle of relatives.
Jamie lived his life precisely how he wanted to, embracing each moment with purpose and passion. His infectious spirit, dedication to duty, and love for his family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
