Luke Lynch Obituary, Learn More About Luke Lynch

 It is with profound sorrow and deep regret that the Department announces the passing of Captain Luke M. Lynch, a dedicated member of Engine Company 201, who succumbed to his WTC-related illness on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Captain Lynch served our esteemed department for an admirable 34 years, exemplifying unwavering commitment and courage. In addition to his commendable service in the fire department, Captain Lynch was a veteran of the Navy, proudly serving during the Vietnam War.

Captain Lynch leaves behind a legacy of service and bravery. He is survived by his daughters Jonianne, Lisa, and Erin Lynch, and his brothers Drew, Connor, Greg, and Mark, as well as several extended family members and friends. His contributions to both his country and community will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

The family has made the following arrangements to commemorate Captain Lynch’s life:
