It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share an update on Dan Radwanski’s condition. After careful consideration and in accordance with his wishes, tomorrow evening around 5:00-5:30, we will be removing him from all artificial means.
This decision, though incredibly difficult, is one that we must make to honor his desires.
For those who wish to see Dan one last time, we kindly ask that you do so by at least four o’clock tomorrow. This will allow us to prepare him for the next steps in this journey. We understand the emotional weight of this situation for everyone, and we express our sincere gratitude for the love and support you have shown Dan and our family during this challenging time.
Dan’s sister, Janet, and I want to convey our deep appreciation for the outpouring of love. We recognize the difficulty this brings to all of you as well. Please know that Dan held a profound love for his family, both biological and chosen. He cherished every connection, whether bound by blood or the bonds formed through shared experiences.
In the coming year, we plan to organize a significant celebration of Dan’s life. This event will be an opportunity for the family, friends, and those whose lives he touched to gather in Florida.
While we are currently unsure of the specific timing, I will post updates as plans unfold. Your understanding during this time is truly appreciated, and we thank you for being a part of Dan’s journey and the broader community that supported him.
