In a heartbreaking turn of events, the music community mourns the tragic passing of Jamie Via, a cherished member of the band Junction Creek, who met an untimely end near my hometown. Having known Jamie for many years, the news hits close to home, as we shared stages and musical memories during the early days of our respective careers.
From his days with the band 65 South to his time with Junction Creek, Jamie’s musical journey left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to witness his talent.
His infectious smile and unwavering kindness made him not just a fellow musician but a friend to all who crossed his path.
