After being denied entry to the car exhibition, the man from the Villages collides with members of the crew.
Antonio Guerra, who is 76 years old, is being charged with aggravated violence. According to the Lady Lake Police Department, a guy from The Villages was taken into custody over the weekend after running into a worker at a car show.
The incident occurred over the weekend. After receiving reports of the collision on Saturday afternoon, the police stated that they responded to the area of Alverez Avenue and Main Street. According to the affidavit, when they arrived, they discovered first responders attending to a member of the staff present at the car show. The staff member indicated that a guy named Anthony Guerra, who was 76 years old, had been “belligerent” after being denied admittance into the exhibition.
Authorities stated that as a consequence of Guerra’s hostile behavior, he was requested to leave the premises. According to the findings of the investigation, Guerra allegedly became agitated, hurled a piece of paper at another member of the staff, and then purposely reversed his vehicle into the victim.
A worker who had been hurt was transported to the hospital, and the police reported that they later located Guerra.
Guerra indicated that the personnel had allowed another group of automobiles to enter the event before him, despite the fact that he was not permitted to enter there, as stated by the investigators.
Records reveal that he claimed he didn’t see the victim until they were already on the back of his car, but he added that the victim called him an expletive, which prompted him to reverse his vehicle. He also claimed that the victim used him abusive language.
