Sharon Carby Obituary, Sharon Carby O Has Died

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Sharon Ann Carby, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Sharon left this world on November 29, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Garland Forrest and Margaret Fischer Forrest, her brother Garland “Uncle Sonny” Forrest Jr., and uncles Edward and Fischer. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her devoted children, Lisa Litsey, Anthony Carby (Jennie), and Matthew Carby (Angela). Sharon’s legacy extends to her cherished grandchildren: Steven (Aubree), Julie Elizabeth, Haley (Timmy), Bryan, Ryan, Jonathon, and Noah. Her great-grandchildren, Colt, Callie, Hayden, and Cassie, brought immeasurable joy to her life. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, David, Elaine, Loraine, and Eddie.

To pay respects and share condolences, friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Shepherdsville, located at 4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at 7:00 PM, also at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home. This will be a time to honor Sharon’s memory, share stories, and find comfort in the support of one another.

In lieu of flowers, the family may appreciate contributions to a cause dear to Sharon’s heart. May the memories of Sharon Ann Carby bring solace and peace to those who grieve her passing.
