Auburn Hills, MI – A devastating murder-suicide has shaken the community of Auburn Hills, Michigan, after a 33-year-old man from Vassar fatally shot his 34-year-old partner from Saginaw before turning the gun on himself at a Holiday Inn Express hotel late Friday night. The tragic incident has left a 3-year-old girl, who was present in the hotel room, without her parents.

According to the Auburn Hills Police Department, officers responded to a domestic dispute call at the Holiday Inn Express located at 3990 Baldwin Rd. around 10:45 p.m. on Friday. As they approached the hotel room, officers reportedly heard two gunshots from inside. Upon entering the room, they discovered both individuals deceased from gunshot wounds.

The police investigation has revealed that the 33-year-old man, whose identity has not been publicly released, fatally shot his 34-year-old partner before taking his own life. The motive behind the tragic incident is still unknown and under investigation.
