FATAL SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH IN SAN BENITO COUNTY CLAIMS LIFE OF 18-YEAR-OLD JULIE OCHOA OBITUARY, DEATH: CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL INVESTIGATES DEVASTATING INCIDENT ON SAN JUSTO ROAD
A tragic single-vehicle crash occurred in San Benito County on Monday evening, resulting in the loss of 18-year-old Julie Ochoa, a resident of Merced. The incident took place at approximately 5:03 p.m. on San Justo Road, located east of San Juan Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the vehicle lost control while traveling east, crossed over into oncoming lanes, veered off the highway, and eventually overturned in a nearby dirt field. The crash tragically resulted in the death of the front-right passenger.
The driver and the left-rear passenger, both sustaining suspected serious injuries, were airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Julie Ochoa.
